Freshly Baked Delights at Droimnín Nursing Home!

We’d a special day in the kitchen at Droimnín Nursing Home as our talented residents rolled up their sleeves for a delightful baking session. Together, they created mouthwatering homemade apple tarts and hearty loaves of brown bread.

Armed with rolling pins, flour, and fresh apples, the residents worked their magic, transforming simple ingredients into delicious treats that filled the air with the comforting aromas of home baking. The process was not just about making food; it was a joyful communal activity that brought everyone together.

As the apple tarts caramelised in the oven and the crusty brown bread baked to perfection, anticipation grew. Finally, the moment to taste their creations arrived, and it was worth the wait! The apple tarts were perfectly sweet and tangy, while the brown bread was just right – crusty on the outside and soft on the inside.
